The MLX100 is an intelligent Ethernet loopback device developed as the perfect companion to the MX100, MX120, MX300 and TX300 test sets. Loopback control can be performed in-band or via the built-in 10/100BaseT Ethernet port via an Internet connection. The MLX100 paired with the compatible MX/TX series is the industry’s most cost-effective solution for point-to-point Service Level Agreement (SLA) verification and end-to-end performance testing.

Key Features
- Layer 2, and layer 3 modes are available for looping back test traffic
- For layer 2, all incoming unicast traffic is looped back with the MAC source & destination addresses swapped
- For layer 3, all incoming unicast traffic is looped back with MAC and IP source & destination addresses swapped
- The optional loopback-ready boot-up profile, allows for fast and easy setup of the MLX100 to begin testing as soon as the device is powered on. This convenient feature is easily configured with Reveal MLX PC software included with the product.
